RUNAWAY leaders FC United equalled the North West Counties League's record with their 12th sucessive victory against Bacup Borough.
Stuart Rudd, Liam Coyne and an own goal preserved their 100 per cent start to the season with a 3-0 win.
The rebel club now have the chance to eclipse the record, set by Skelmersdale last term, when they take on rivals Salford City at The Willows tomorrow night.

United took the lead three minutes after the restart when Simon Myerscough sliced Rudd's shot into his own net. Rudd grabbed his 15th of the campaign on 69 minutes and defender Coyne completed the scoring with 10 minutes remaining in front of 3,268 people at Gigg Lane.
