A GIGG Lane crowd of 3,349 saw FC United continue their Moore and Co League second division title march with a 2-1 victory over Ashton Town.

Adie Orr gave the Rebels a 22nd minute lead, but Gary Crompton netted an immediate equaliser and it was left to Steve Torpey to secure a win which keeps them 14 points clear of second-placed Winsford.
