There will be no better place to be for the locals on Sunday afternoon than Accrington's Interlink Express Stadium.
Nelson's home game with breakway club FC United is finally upon us, and will be played at Accrington's home ground this Sunday (15th January) with a 2pm kick-off.
The bumper crowds following the Manchester side formed from supporters disgruntled with the goings-on at Man. United have been nothing short of phenomenal. In fact so much so that only Exeter City in the whole of the non-league pyramid have a higher average attendance this season.
Our visit to Gigg Lane earlier in the season was a fantastic occassion for the Nelson supporters - the final score apart - with the atmosphere being akin to one big happy party on a truly massive scale.
So to all the blokes out there who fancy getting out of helping with the Sunday tea, or redecorating the living room, tell the missus you have more pressing matters at hand and leave her to it! Or better still, bring her along too - with the kids - and join in with what is sure to be a cracking afternoon out.
We need all the singing and shouting help we can get to try and compete with the away side, so whether you support Burnley, Accrington, Colne or whoever, feel free to come down and help bolster our numbers.
Try something a little different. You know you want to!
