Bury director Iain Mills has revealed his satisfaction at the Shakers' relationship with FC United.
The breakaway club, formed after Malcolm Glazer's takeover of Manchester United, have been playing their Moore & Co Construction Solicitors League Division Two games at Gigg Lane and the signs from both clubs are that the arrangement could be extended.
"They've been excellent and it's worked very nicely for everybody," Mills said. "It's been good for both sides. They have the use of a good facility and it's extra income for us.
"They've come in and it's been a learning curve but they've learned very quickly. It's money coming in for us and it's been fantastic."
Meanwhile, fellow director Jim Lomas admits talks could start soon about next season.
Lomas added: "We've heard they're hoping to speak about next season soon and we're happy to have discussions about that."
