HEDNESFORD TOWN suffered their fourth league defeat of the season but remain top of the UniBond Premier table.
Despite a promising early start at Gigg Lane, the Pitmen lost 3-0 at FC United of Manchester.
Kyle Wilson hit the first for United on 13 minutes and added the second on 70, before Jerome Wright added the third five minutes from time.
With Guiseley – the Pitmen’s opponents next Saturday – drawing with Kendal, Hednesford stay two points clear.
