Rebels aim to bounce back

FC United are in UniBond Premier League action on Wednesday night.

The mid-table Rebels, who suffered a 4-2 defeat against FA Cup giantkillers Eastwood Town on Saturday, take on sixth-placed Ashton United at Gigg Lane.

Leigh Genesis hope to play their first game since mid-November when they take on Atherton Colls at Radcliffe Borough’s Stainton Park in the first round of the Lancashire Trophy.

Last night’s Daisy Hill-Ramsbottom United tie, which has also been delayed by weather problems, was again postponed. It has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, December 16, at Ramsbottom.
